Draft Christchurch Conservation Area Appraisal
The council is consulting on a new appraisal for the Christchurch Conservation Area. This appraisal has been drafted by the Reading Conservation Area Advisory Committee.
The appraisal details the special interest of the conservation area, and proposes an extension to its boundaries, as well as an action plan for preserving and enhancing the area.
We are publishing this appraisal for consultation, and we welcome your views. Comments should be submitted by e-mail to planningpolicy@reading.gov.uk or by post to Planning Policy Team, Reading Borough Council, Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading, RG1 2LU. Please ensure that comments have been submitted by 5 pm on Friday 31st May 2024.

It was agreed at Strategic Environment, Planning and Transport Committee on 20/11/24 that the Christchurch Conservation Area Appraisal be adopted.
