School Admission Co-Ordinated Scheme & Policy 2027/2028 Consultation

We have reviewed our Co-Ordinated Admissions Scheme for Primary, Infant, Junior and Secondary schools for Reading Borough Council for the 2026/2027 academic year and our Admissions Policy for Infant, Junior and Primary Schools 2026/2027. As a result we are proposing some minor amendments.

A report on the response to this consultation will be made at the Council’s Adult Social Care, Children's Services & Education Committee on 14th January 2026.’ The schemes and policy will be determined by 28 February 2026 and will be available on the website.
