Social Value policy consultation

Reading Borough Council’s vision is to help Reading realise its potential and to ensure that everyone who lives and works here can share in the benefits of its success. The Social Value policy sets out the Council’s commitment to create thriving communities, an inclusive economy, and healthy environment.

The policy also describes our understanding of Social Value, what value it can add and how we are looking to maximise this opportunity.

We welcome your thoughts and suggestions on how we can improve our policy. Please take a look at the policy document attached and feed back on the three key sections:

1) Our Social Value priorities

2) Our commitments

3) Monitoring and measuring success

Finally, you will have the option to share any additional thoughts on the theme of Social Value.

The consultation is open between 9th August and 13th September.

Thank you for taking the time to take part in the consultation.
