Waiting Restriction Review Programme 2025

Once a year, requests for new waiting restrictions across the borough, or amendments to existing restrictions, are collated and considered for investigation as part of the Waiting Restriction Review Programme.

Approval was given by the Traffic Management Sub-Committee in March 2026 to carry out a statutory consultation on a number of proposals, which can be viewed in the drawings at the bottom of this page.

We are now carrying out a consultation with the public on these proposals. Responses can be sent to us by email to highway.objections@reading.gov.uk, by completing the survey below or in writing to Network Management, Reading Borough Council Civic Offices, Bridge St, Reading RG1 2LU quoting reference WRR2025.

All of the feedback to the consultation will be anonymously reported to the Traffic Management Sub-Committee. The Sub-Committee will review the feedback received and will decide whether or not the proposals should be installed.
