Waiting Restriction Review Programme 2024A

Twice-annually, requests for new waiting restrictions across the borough, or amendments to existing restrictions, are collated and considered for investigation as part of the Waiting Restriction Review Programme.

Approval was given by the Traffic Management Sub-Committee in June 2024 to carry out a statutory consultation on a number of proposals, which can be viewed in the drawings at the bottom of this page.

We are now carrying out a consultation with the public on these proposals. Responses can be sent to us by email to highway.objections@reading.gov.uk, by completing the survey below or in writing to Highway Objections, Network Services, Highways & Traffic Services, Reading Borough Council, Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading RG1 2LU.

All of the feedback to the consultations will be anonymously reported to the Traffic Management Sub-Committee. The Sub-Committee will review the feedback received and will decide whether or not the proposals should be installed.

The closing date is 6th June 2025.
